Those are all flukes, and the people that claim that they feel a difference only feel the placebo effect.

The reason there is no flash tune for our cars is basically there's no power to be had from tuning.
Therefor, nobody offers one. Yes?

On turbo motors there's tunes like crazy because they basically just turn the boost up so you get like 50+hp
but these newer n/a cars they're pretty much maxed out. Nothing on the table, ect.

255hp from a 3.5L is pretty damn fantastic for a normal everyday car like a maxima.

I've never seen anyone say so here.

The reason is because there IS power to be gained from tuning. Is there as much potential as a factory turbo/sc car, no. Is it worth it, not to a lot of people.

I personally improved my 1/4 mile time with my old 3.0 by ~0.6 sec and 2-3 mph (same night, back to back runs. I have the timeslips posted in one of my 1/4 mile threads) from just tuning the ignition timing with an emanage ultimate.

Pretty sure there is... Tune the car exclusively for high octane fuel (premium?) and see if there's a difference

MoncefA33, why do you think there is not a tune for our maximas?

There's about 5 different ways to tune a Maxima (naturally aspirated).

I've used all of them.

The gains are there, proven on the dyno and on the street on 3.0 and 3.5.

I sell tuning products for these cars and my customers say the same thing.
