HKS rear section muffler?

I found a good used HKS rear section muffler for my 03 MAX.
The guy is asking $200 for it. Is this a good price?

This an axleback??? Not jus the muffler wihtout any length of piping..
if its an axleback...i think you have one of the earliest pieces made for the maxima...back in the day when we had more aftermarket support. Id rock it with pride. $200 seems fair but i hate paying asking and list

Yes it is a axle back setup. Not sure how old it is, but it looks nice from the pics. Actually the price is 200+ 30 for shipping. It does sound good from the YouTube videos I listened to.

200 bucks for a muffler basically, is overkill to me. Even though I wanna say that's probably a fair price for the HKS.

And yes the HKS is really nice and it's even cool to have one due to it's exclusivity and rareness, but it's not anything special that its worth 200+ IMO

You can buy an ENTIRE catback system, 304 stainless steel and mandrel bent 2.5" for 400. That's all I'm saying....

But I digress

I just want to keep it simple and cheap.
Found a Megan rear dual tip muffler on ebay that would need to be welded on for $137.99. Any opinions on the Megan?

Full Megan catback here, thing sounds sexy and IMO great value for a stainless system of that kind.

Its hard to put a monetary price on such an old rare piece..I mean yeah you can get a megan setup for like 440$...or just the axleback for 200ish. If you like the sound, tip design and the pretty hks logo on the side it may be worth it to some.
Im sure you could find a 2.5 inch mid pipe for cheaper than 240$ tho...even a megan. (used) Also, dont be afraid to make an offer if thats an option...perhaps you can get it for lesser

True, someone may find it worth it. Its just a muffler tho and not really anything special other than being rare.

Only way I'd care about HKS is if I get to drive the Genki Hyper Silvia.
