RockAuto Lower Control Arm for $53???

Why is this part so cheap? Its double at Autozone and almost triple at Courtesyparts.com. The salvage yard wants $50 for a used one! Anyone have insight on this?

Thanks,
Matt

None wrong with it...go for it cuz

1.AutoZone (made in china mark up)
2.Oem (98% of the time outrageous doh)
3.slap them

Even better if you refurbished yours ,buy the moog balljoint, and es bushings, quite a bit of work but will be solid.

Don't they have different grades/tiers/etc, like Raybestos, etc?

For the 5th Gen there's two MOOG LCA's!!!! The best one is their Problem Solver Line! the economical LCA lacks a greaseable Lower balljoint (a sealed balljoint), the Problem Solve Line come with a greaseable lower balljoint that includes a grease zerk!!!! The 4th Gen Moog LCA is only available thru MOOG as the econo line! but you can go with Raybestos Professional Line which is good also!!!!Rockauto for the win!

I didnt notice, but yes they do have different tiers. I went ahead and bought the Beck/Arnley LCA before reading this.

I cant refurbish mine because its bent. Destroyed.

Thanks for the info! I might see if they can cancel my order and Ill order the MOOG one.

Maybe if it hasn't shipped i don't see why not....

Yea i had a feeling yours was damaged since you only asked for one,but in any case the used one for $50 is too much , if you could have got a used one for the low es bushings and moog balljoints is the way of the yoda. may the force guide you buddy

I bought both of mine new from eBay a couple years ago for about $60 shipped each. They have held up well without issue.
