it definitely is a pain... i put the front and back on my cousins 2k max... you have to do it on the fatter side, and just use a rag and a thin flathead screwdriver and try not to dent the paint

i know

maximagirl, i feel your pain.. when i first tried to pry the rear markers off i couldn't even BUDGE it.. needless to say i was frustrated so i put it aside.

a few weeks later i tried again, this time with a bigger flathead screwdriver and a thinner piece of cloth and VOILA! it just popped out so easily.. i left scratching my head.

so just keep trying!

I didn't want to take the touch up paint route. I remember people her saying that it looked horrible. I just used Meguiars XScratch over and over again. You can hardly see the scratch now. This XScratch thing really works. I've used it on so many scratches, which are now gone.

just use something that isnt thick, so you arent wedging too hard between the light and the bumper

Hmm. Jersey to AZ? Hope it's worth the trip

Since your a pro with them little brushes I guess give it a go. As for the side markers, keep trying with a little more force but please be careful. Otherwise you'll be using a much larger brush than ur accustomed to.

Same problem here. I finally pulled mine as hard as I could with one hand, and with the other took a grip on the marker. I then pulled as hard as I could and broke off a clip on the back of the marker. I looked at the back of the marker only to find out that it was assembled incorrectly. Oh well, it's off now and the paint chips aren't too big. Good luck! Keep pulling.

The rear left one was a b!tch to take out..chipped paint and red marker. I tried using thinner ones and nothing worked, just tugged real hard

DONT USE A SCREWDRIVER

Get a thin strap (about the thickness of a seatbelt) put it under the back of the sidemarker and yank everything out. A screwdriver just damages the paint and chips the lense.

What I found is after I gouged the crap outta the one side (left) is not to actually PRY the side but rather insert the "prying device" straight in (at the front end closest to front of the car), carefully, and then laterally (sp?) moved to the reflector side. Kinda like moving a slide bar. I did this one the second side w/o marring the paint or mutalating the reflector. I used one of the Craftsman shorty screwdrivers and it was a wide thin blade.

I was however able to get the whole bumper painted when some bozo bonked the rear at a stoplight. No real damage, but a free paint job!

Good luck!
