You definitely added some braking power. What is the diameter of the rotors you used and what size rims do you have?

I have 17s for rims.... I got the rotors from a 6th gen Maxima so im not sure about the diameter but there's definitely a noticeable difference in size...

Did they fit without any problems?
The 6-Gen rotors are 12.58" in diameter vs. 11.02" for ours, so they are almost 1.5 inches larger. They must be heavier, too. Did everything work out just fine?

Edit: My car has the "factory 17"" wheels; will the 6-Gen rotors fit?

That's good input.

The reason I am so stubbornly asking this question: I clearly remember an earlier post that stated that the 17" SE rims from the 5-gen will not fit, whereas the 17" SE rims from the 5.5-Gen will accommodate the 6-Gen rotor & calipers. I also have a note somewhere that a clearance (measure radially) of 7 5/8" is needed. I don't think my rims provide it .....

So what is all needed? Just calipers, rotors, and pads?

Yep. its a direct bolt on with pads, caliper and rotor. Interesting this topic and mods gaining recent traction, oldest of news.

Take this opportunity to bleed all 4 corners of all old fluid in the correct sequence. My reservoir is clear since doing this upgrade

5.5 gen over 6th. 12.6" as stated above by a user is correct.

Awesome! Thank you. I have had no issue warping the front rotors on my 5.5.
