Just want to say Thanks to the guys on the forum.

I looks like I fixed this problem associated with "Trick Alternator" on my 03, 3.5, i-35.

BUT the Maxima seems to be way more picky than other cars in its class. Can't just go buy whatever's in stock and fix

Agreed that the car is picky^ but it always works with OEM parts. I would not by any means associate this with the car being unreliable. The 5th Gen Maxima is quite possibly the last reliable Maxima built and if the car was maintained properly before hand, is very solid compared to many other vehicles on the market
