help with my new 2000 maxima

Hi all, I just switched over from a 99 a4 to a 2000 maxima 5spd.. I must say so far I like it a lot but I'm having one issue and hopefully one of you can help me out
I went to backyard mechanic (unfortunly) to get my valve cover gasket changed. Well I got the car back but now it tends to jerk at very low rpm 1st and 2nd gear, if I floor it it just hesitates like hell and eventually picks up.
Any ideas? And I have cel for crankshaft pos sensor , swirl control valve. And my map sensor with the double outlet is not connected . I think he may have connected hoses wrong. Any ideas from you ? thanks

Since the MAP sensor is disconnected, you are dealing with vacuum leaks. Take the car back and get him to fix it.

Maybe giving him the service manual. At the beginning of section EC, page 21, starts the pollution control section. Page 28 starts the vacuum hose routing.

Welcome to the nightmare that I dealt with for a week or two after getting my valve gaskets done. The swirl valve code is likely due to the two hoses on the right side of the engine just underneath the swirl box being incorrectly positioned.

I made this back then
