Not to be rude
I know you are supposed to use the Search for any questions before asking but the Search doesn't allow for a "02" and "2002" doesn't typically work. There seems to be enough distinction with the 02 (VQ35DE) versus the 2nd gen (VQ30DE) engines that mosts of the posts I read don't work.
For example, I was very interested in the APEXi REV/Speed meter discussion but after going to the APEXi web site I find out that they don't support the VQ35DE engine. Someone in a previous post suggested that all the 02 buyers were screwed out of mods. Now I don't really buy that as this engine is too good for Nissan to just let languish. I'm pretty sure that its just a matter of timing (the engine did just come out). But it would be nice to be able to distinguish between things that work for the various engines.
Another good example is the RSB, which many post suggest is one of the "absolute" mods. I called Stillen and they say their latest will work. The posting under the How-To's suggest that this will work but it has me cautious.
I ordered the FTSB from Courtesy after confirming with them that it will work with the 02 maxima. But the JWT (and the other intakes) really concern me. Looking under the hood there seems like a lot that has to be removed to make these work. I'm all in favor of mods that make a car better but I won't be bothered with cosmetic changes (e.g. painting my calipers).
Does this sound right? I'm guessing that this kind of thing came up with the 2nd gen as my 89 SE (that I got rid of recently) had the older engine then most of the 2nd gens had.
Any comments?
I would really like to know if the various air intakes

Majestic Blue with charcoal interior. Tinted rear 3 windows.
Stillen RSB, intake to come. FSTB still under development.
Will like to find some good replacment bulbs for the high beam, fogs, and interior.
Leased vehicle so I don't want to change too much
