power valve assembly

hi,
03 se 6spd high miles, just replaced firewall side cat and cleared all codes except "multiple misfires" ughhh!!! my question/problem is when going uphill the car loses power big time as well as starves if/when i put my foot into the accelerator. so when checked out we found that the "power valve assembly" is taking in air when spraying carb cleaner around intake for leaks...well i was told i needed an Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve; cannot find this part anywhere in existence the closest thing its been identified to is power valve assembly. ok needless to say i dont have a clue...but i do know its on the passenger side of the motor and its right on the manifold and it has a rod connected to it similar to like a throttle and its secured by i think 3 hex bolts. Can somebody please please help me????

The Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve advances the camshaft and uses an electric motor to do that.

It sounds to me like you need the power valve.

This is Nissan part # 14510-8J19E. I don't know if you can get these at your local auto parts store or if it is a dealer only part.
