02 max shuts off
02 max shuts off
Hey guys. i have a problem with my 02 maxima. It drives fine but at certain times when im driving the engine would cut off at any time and on the dash there would be the brake light, the engine oil light, and the battery light would come on when the car shuts off.
P1800 was the code that came up when this problem first started.
I have changed the solenoid valve like a week ago and the code went away and the car still cuts off and those lights on the dash come on.
If anyone could help me with this it would be really thankful!!!!!!

02-max-shuts-off.
I had this problem in my 99 maxima I was playing around with the car and notice the relay to the vacuum bypass was lose I took it off and plugged it back up tight and never had the problem again it's on the back driver side behind the wheel try it and let me know if that helped light should also go off
No, I bet that the lights come on as a consequence of the engine shutting down; the alternator stops charging, and the lights come on. So, there is only one problem. However, should the lights come on before the engine shuts down, that would be a different story. O2gold, let us know what exactly is happening.
