So I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima 3.0 with an automatic transmission. Transmission is bad on vehicle obviously so I bought one from a junkyard. Then I started calling places to get quotes on putting the trans in, well minimum is $700. So that being said Im gonna do it myself, only I don't have a lift. So my question here is what are the pros and cons of replacing it on the ground. And is there anything I should look for and/or keep an eye out for. All advice is good advice so thanks in advance.
