Radio and Instrument Clster

Hi all. So I'm new at modding but I've always been a DIY kinda guy tinkering under the hods of various cars but never anything major. Like I helped a friend install a sub system in his car and ive changed a few batteries. So When I boought my 03 Max, the tape to mp3 adapter was stuck in the tape player. So one day I took the radio out and tinkered around with the radio and got the tape to come out. However when I wired the radio back up, the radio was dead. The AC still works though. And I'm not sure if its related, but shortly after the back light of the instrument cluster in the dash went out. But whats even more strange is that the gear selection light, the gas light, and the E Brake light still come on. I just cant see my speed or RPMs at night. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Yeah the fuse is blown. Do you think that is the extent of the problem though?

I doubt it. Fuses don't usually blow for no reason. What exactly did you do while "tinkering" with your radio? My guess is it's time for a new radio.

I took the radio out of the car completely and i messed around with the face of the radio, trying to get the cruddy tape out. But in all honesty i think i just need a new radio. My radio didn't work properly when i first got it anyway

Did you ever figure out your fuse problem by any chance?
