you can buy a line out converter...they range anywhere from $30-500 or more depending on how much flexibility you want. the cheaper ones are ok and will work fine if you are running a low powered system (under 400wrms). however, the cheaper ones are usually only good for one set of speakers (front, rear, or sub) where the more expensive ones are for the entire audio system.

what is your budget and equipment you plan on using?

Then your best bet is to replace the whole system. New headunit, amps (2 amps or a single 5 channel), speakers, and sub. It's possible to tap into the existing speaker wiring that runs from the Bose amp to the speakers but it's small gauge wire and I would recommend running your own.

As hrtbrk1 asked, what is your budget?

I'd rather install a new HU myself as unclejunebug suggested. But if you are on a small budget, keeping your stock HU and just adding an amp won't be hard. there are pros and cons to both.
