car randomly stalls

Hi guys i drive a 02 maxima and ive been having some stalling problems with the car the check engine line is on and i got it checked and said it wad the camshaft position sensor bank 2. I got a new sensor which was not oem it was some kind of wells brand it wasnt a cheap brand though. So i put that it in and reset the code drive fine for about a week then the problem csme back on again it the code reader says its the same sensor? I guess this is a common problem with these cars. I hear you have to replace all 3 sensors both camshaft and crank to fix the the problem i dont know if this is true or not some help would be appreciated

What was the code exactly?

Only use OEM sensors with these cars.

car stalls

Hi! I've recently had the same problem with my car stalling. I try to give it gas and it just deccelerates. I have to pull over, cut it off, wait a few minutes and then crank it back up. It getting extremely frustrating!!! Can't even go out of town with it! However, she's been good up to this point. Bought cam and crankshaft sensors by Delphi. Haven't put them on yet because my mechanic says that's not the problem. Please help...need a resolution fast!!!

Well, for critical sensors, like this, you should use OEM. There is plenty of info on this subject on this forum. For your particular problem, read this thread: https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...ease-help.html

My car is still decelerating no matter how much gas I give it. Sooooo I put in the cam and crankshaft sensors...by Delphi. The fuel pump, outtake sensor/speed sensor, wiring harness, fuses, 02 sensors, computer and relays alllll checked out fine. Pleeeeease help!!!!! I'm getting soooo frustrated! Can't even ride out of town! Any suggestions!!
