I've seen the light and do I have HLSD?
First, a little history since I haven't posted here before. I'm now on my third Maxima. First was a 96 SE 5-spd, second was a 2000 SE 5-spd, and third is now a 02 SE 6-spd. I sold the 2000 SE about 6 months ago to buy a 2000 Acura TL (please no flames). It didn't do it for me so I sold it about 3 weeks ago for $200 less than I paid for it (not a bad deal...$200 for 5 months and 8K miles). Now I'm the proud owner of a new 02 Maxima SE 6-spd with every option except NAV. As the subject says: I've seen the light...
Second, do I have HLSD? The dealer says it doesn't but the car does have the Drilled Metal Pedals. I purchased it in Canada if this makes a difference.

Canadian 2k2's have VLSD from what i understood.

If it has the drilled pedals, it "should" have the HLSD (per Nissan Canada).
2 things, check the Manufactured date. If it's 12/01 or newer, it has the HLSD. Also, check the window sticker (if you still have it) it should have HLSD written on it.
