Custom Sub Box in my 2k2
For those interested in doing a custom box for their 2k2, check this out. I have had it since November, but never posted pics. Its over the top for some and not enough for others..I like it though and it sounds good.

That looks like you ate up quite an amount of trunk space on the right. Is that real or am i just imagining it?
Looks good though! I like how you have opposite facing subs
I value trunkspace (And weight savings) so i'm getting a Basslink hehehe.

Two 10"s. I did loose space and moved the jack down next to the spare, which is fully accessible. The hinge clearance is real tight, but does not rub. In hindsight, I would have used different subs. Their ohm rating is not the most efficient usage of the amp, regardless of how I wire them. The best part is the box only cost me $100.00 to build (not including subs).

Actually, the box is MDF...but, we shaped the edges with fiberglass to give it a nice rounded look that fit well in the trunk, sanded everything and covered it up. It took a lot of trial and error. I could sell it if someone is interested.

I've seen this thing, its not for the timid thats for sure. I like the design and it's very unique. Definately takes up your trunk space, but if this was all about being conservative and thrify, we wouldn't be here.
