Hi,
my 2k SE is making strange noise again. I sometimes hear a cracking noise from the rear when I make a stop. It sounds like some metal is breaking up. It happens at least once a day, 30 miles mixed city/highway ride. My dealer is not usually helpful for this kind of rattle/noise. They just don't hear it! Anyone has similar problem? Thanks.

 

Does it sound like it is coming from inside the car or outside? My rear deck cover really makes some funny buzzing noises when driving over bumps and such...annoying as all heck. Think tracked it down to the miffle seat belt holder...at least the white thingy that the seat belt coils into under the deck lid.

My dealer seems to have an acute hearing disorder also when it comes to fixing rattles

 

I think it's coming from the outside. I've already had rattling rear deck problem and I just gave up the idea of letting dealer fix it. I'm trying to do it myself. This noise comes out olny when I come to almost complete stop. I don't have any mod at this time and it seems to me that some suspension components make noise but I'm not sure.
