Do you have a shift kit in your car? Have you ever seen one in person? Have you ever assembled one or are you just going by a picture or what you heard?
These transmissions can take abuse. Maybe there's something else that is giving people problems that has nothing to do with the inside parts of the transmissions. There are countless members with 200,000 miles on these supposed weak trannys. I myself am at 190,000 with the last 15,000 being boosted. Not a problem. These transmissions are not weak.

No..it's changing more than that and if you just do a search on here you will see how many people experience AT issues from 5th gen and 5.5 gen. Far more than the people who are running any nitrous, supercharged, or turbo Maximus. Almost everyone (in their right mind) running that stuff all have modified their AT to cope with it. So no...these transmissions are not stout.
