Reverse Switch

Reverse Switch
Recently the reverse light, backup camera and sensor stopped working on my 2003 Nissan Maxima. After doing some research I've purchased this reverse switch on the picture below. My stereo unit detects when the shifter goes into reverse mode but the reverse light just doesn't come on, the backup camera and sensor are spliced to the reverse light. Hopefully replacing the reverse switch would fix that issue. Could someone please point me to the location of the switch? Preferably a picture of where it is located. Appreciate it

I've never tried to access it from the hood. I guess it might be possible, but the easier way is to get under the car and remove the one bolt holding the switch in place. When you do, unless you have the car tilted, some fluid will come out when you remove the old switch. If you're due up for new fluid, it's probably a good time to drain it completely and refill it with some redline. If you recently changed it, then you can probably get by with only refilling the little amount that comes out.
Yours is a M/T, right?
Here's a pic from the FSM for the procedure on diagnosing it:

You'll have to access the switch from under the hood. remove the airbox and the switch is right under the bracket where the hard clutch line connects to the rubber line.
You'll need a 21mm deep well socket and you wont loose any fluid.
Here's a pic of my 02. It's hard to tell but I'm shooting from the radiator/bumper.
The second pic is for perspective.
