2003 Maxima Service Engine Soon Light

2003 Maxima Service Engine Soon Light
For the past 2 weeks, my Maxima would occasionally sputter for just a second when going 60mph on the freeway. Today, it sputtered 2 times and then the Service Engine Soon light came on and stayed on. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem?

ODBC reader is a "must have" tool with our cars. Get yourself one like
