I had the check engine light come on. Everything appears fine. The car starts like it did before on the first crank, the transmission shifts fine.

I took it to Advance, the guy hooked up the OBD11 and read this code

P0726 - Trans Engine Speed Sensor

What could be causing this ?

- Crankshaft Position sensor bad ?
- Something else ?


Like I said, everything looks fine except check engine light stays on.

 

I have the same code that popped up. Did you get it fixed? I think it jus means you need to change out the sensor, it's not a mechanical issue.
