Oil change

Can I put synthetic oil in my 2002 maxima 3.5 instead of conventional oil?

4 quarts without a filter change, 4 1/8 quarts with filter change.

Yep, no problem. These engines are hard on oil so a quality synthetic's beneficial to use. Make sure to use a good filter as well and not the cheapo ones for $3.
