Oil on top on spark plug

I recently changed my plugs myself at 105k and noticed some oil on top of and looks to be around the hole the plug goes in. All other plugs look normal. Could this be from a faulty valve cover? No signs of oil loss or burning either thanks for any suggestions

I had this on one of my older Maximas....turned out to be the O ring type gasket on the spark plug tube....can't remember the correct name at the moment as it was quite a few years back.

valve cover

time to replace your valve cover gasket sounds like its giving you a head notice before the rest start to leak on you

Thanks thats what i was afraid of i can only imagine how big of a pain that will be but i guess its prob not much more after removing the manifold maybe its time to trade in for a new one 😀

spark plug tube seal is leaking. Most of the time they are separate from valve cover gasket, but to get to them, you need to remove the valve cover, so might as well replace valve cover gasket as well.
They also can be difficult to get out and install back properly, pay attention on how they sit on the spark plug tube.
