Most big brands are a rip off b/c of the price.

Go federal 595. They're not for wet driving, though.

Everyone says they run wider, so don't oversize.

Tire Rack has a great research tool where they chart the different characteristics of tires in different categories based on user surveys. It's very detailed.

Just look under "passenger tires" and select the category.

Those are good, too. I burned through them in 15k or less. Same thing would happen with 595s at 280 treadwear (so, I'm sure the 240s are even worse).
V12s would be a lot better for wet.

Don't expect long life, OP lol

I had actually still have the Michelin super sport as3 I believe. Great tire hook up was unreal. I didn't get a whole lot of life out of them. I don't think it was the tires fault though.

If you're on stock rims, then you're only going to fit 235s reasonably.

Then you should already have 245s

Larger contact patch equals more traction and they correctly fit the rim, so they will perform better than 225s.

I had some PS2s before (old ver of super sport) and they're definitely good, but wasn't impressed with wear. They're just too expensive for me. I like it when the tires are under 100 bucks LOL.

Hankook s1 noble are an exceptional performance tire. Feel like UHP summer tires and they're actually AS's.

I also didn't mind my Yoko S-Drives.

For summer tires I usually try and go with whatever performs well in the rain.
