Ebay mesh grille 03 Max need pics
Hey guys.
I'm looking to purchase this mesh grille on ebay for my max: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-NISSAN-0...FV56rE&vxp=mtr
I've done a lot of searching but haven't found anything. Any posted pics were too old and wouldn't open.
Does anyone have pics of their BLACK 02-03 maxima with this grille installed? Just cant decide whether or not it'd look good on my car, and I'd like to see some pics of it on a black max before I decide.
Thanks!

Here's one I put together my self. I was going for a look that cleaned up the front without drawing too much attention by screaming "aftermarket".
It could be done glossy too. I gave the grill a textured finish by spraying from farther back. The mesh is semi-gloss.

Thanks! Yeah I think I'm just gonna mod the stock grille to get the Nissan part out. I just don't like it for some reason
Good looking car man! I like that look with the mesh behind. I'll have to figure something out.
How so?

Another thing that looks good on a dark car is to black out the chrome window trim. I always thought it looked awkward and I've been really pleased with the blacked out look. It's not the best pic but I don't have another one handy.

It sounds a little ghetto but I've had the inserts in for about 10 years with no problems. The bailing wire is painted black so you really have to get your face right on it to see.
The material has a top/bottom and a front/back so you have to pay attention cutting it.
It's hard to see in the pic but I did the openings under the bumper too. That's what gave me the idea for the grill. I saw that the AC condenser was getting beat up by rocks and such so I put the mesh in place to protect it. Wasn't even thinking about looks.

Hi Derrick, thanks for the pics and insights.
I have one problem. My Grille has never been removed in her 13.5 years of daily service, so the 3 nuts holding the grille look like they will snap off if cranked. You cant use fire there, so is there a clever way to get the rusty mounting nuts off or am I SOL and need to break them and then just install another grille?

The good news is that the bolts are clipped in place and can be replaced if they get messed up. You might be able to get in there and cut them off to avoid breaking the tabs on the grill.
The grill is also held in place by several clips that hold it really well. I just realized that I've been running it without the nuts on it for years now. I left it like that because I was taking it in and out a lot and just never put them back.

Here's the final completed grill.
I have since removed it after it was cracked - damage due to a woman pulling out in front of me. I've simply not had time to repair it. I'd sell if someone wants to fix it.
