The exhaust will NOT void your warranty. The only thing that you voided is your muffler warranty. Don't let the dealer give you **** about it.

Is the warranty split up like that (exp. muffler warranty, engine warranty and so on.)

For me and other people that have gotten there greddy installed there is a small connection from the cat to the rest of your factory exhaust. Now that's what has the O2 sensor in it that has to be removed and then they have to drill a hole a weld a O2 bung on the greddy for the sensor. nothing major I just had taken in mine to midas yesterday and they did the welding of the sensor and install of my greddy.

greddy evo

Do you have any pics? I was hoping to install it myself. Is the pipe marked or are the instructions detailed ? I can take it to the shop and have it drilled and then welded an install it my self right?

The warranty coverage is in effect for the full time period (3yr/30K, 5yr/60K etc). If your car fails due to a manufactures defect or bad workmanship it is covered. If you do something that caused a problem, that is NOT covered by the warranty.

NOTHING CAN VOID YOUR WARRANTY it will still be in effect.

But, for example if you add a supercharger and your tranny blows it will be hard to prove that the cause is a nissan defect and not your SC.

Bottom line, the more you mod the harder it will be to convince a dealer the problem was not caused by your mods.

So I shouldn't worry about my warranty.

And I got my Greddy from Avalon Racing for 575 sounds expensive but got free shipping. To bad you only had til the 28th I think for free shipping. Also you could do it if you have a lift but the O2 sensor was place about 2.5 inches from the connection to your cat but placement is the issue if you doing it yourself it would be pretty hard to do test fit first and look for good placement of the O2 sensor. I watched and helped put it on I would of never been able to do it without a lift.
