Car dies rite after start

I have a 2000 5 speed maxima with intake and fatback exhaust both eBay parts nothing fancy. Last two times it has rained all day the car runs for a while and then after it is off for a little while. I will try and start it and car will die after a few seconds and just dies faster if I press the gas. Any ideas please help

Sounds like your MAF is toast. Disconnect MAF and see if car will start and idle (don't touch the gas pedal). Report back.

FWIW, I've never had much luck with the car running without maf plugged in.
I'd definitely snag some from the junkyard and see.

Time to start swapping sensors, I guess. Swap both crank sensors with the other car.

I wouldn't think it would run for a while and restart at all if fuel was an issue. Very odd that it dies faster when throttled up.

The front one by the mount and the other one by the pulley??

Check the intake system for any cracks or leaks. That would be the first place I would go after maf
Also do the pedal dance and reset everything.
