Reading A/T temperature with scan tool

I know the 5.5 gen A/T has a fluid temperature sensor but I can't seem to read that temperature with any of my scan tools.

This sensor sends the temp to the TCM but I don't know if the TCM sends this temperature reading to the ECU.

Does anyone know if there is a way to read the transmission fluid temp with a scan tool?

Thanks

Not that I know of. Perhaps the consult tool can, but you can't connect to the TCM in nissan datascan II, so you can't view/log it. Connecting to anything other than ECU only works on the newer ECUs.

I thought NDS II could read TCM data but after looking into it, you're right, it only reads ECM data on the A34.

It would be nice if I could get some ATF temps fairly easily before I switch to Amsoil.
