Car specific tool box
A friend of mine gave me a good idea that I'd like to share with you guys. Some of you may already be doing this but probably not all.
He has several cars, foreign and American and made a tool box for each car with the common size sockets and wrenches that each car uses. I went a step further and made a list of all the bolts I might have to turn on the car such as oil pan drain plug, cvt drain plug, battery terminal, pulley tensioner, lugs, etc.
I taped that list to the inside lid of my tool box so now I don't have to guess what size a certain nut or bolt is. I still have other tools in the box but I don't have overkill like I did before. I now have a tool box for all 3 vehicles and one I dedicated solely for the house.
I no longer have to go to the garage or my car for a pair of pliers or a wrench. For my muscle car I also keep the usual spare belts and hoses for just in case. Hope this helps someone.

I see the writing on the wall so my way to deal with my "condition" is to write stuff down and keep things as un-complicated as possible.
