Aiming headlights with channel lock pliers

So I don't have access to any of my tools at the moment except a pair of channel lock pliers in the trunk I use to remove the oil cap when topping off lol. My headlight's need adjusting pretty bad, as the throw is too low. Can I use the pliers on the adjustment screws? I know they're plastic and will be careful. Will the pliers fit back there? Strange post, I know

You should be fine using them as long as the angle of the pliers will reach the adjustment **** and you'll still have room to twist it. The cheap white plastic toothed discs disintegrated on mine so I had to use some pliers to twist the metal ****. I ended up using some long reach needle nose pliers that were offset at the tip in order to get the angle just right and still be able to twist the ****. It's a little tedious with the lights mounted in the car, but definitely doable.

It was a little tight but the pliers did the job. The aim was pretty jacked up. Had to bring each headlight up a good amount. Now the shoulder and road signs are actually illuminated!
