Yeah, it's called trading your car in for a G35 sedan.

I know a while back someone was doing a RWD conversion on a 4th gen. I think he got deployed and wasn't able to finish when he returned. not positive though.

The Infiniti M35 and M45 were rear wheel drive cars. It was based on the JDM Gloria model, which I think was fairly similar the our NA Maxima. There was someone doing a conversion on a Maxima, but never finished it afaik. VQ35maxima=Beast says it was being done on a 4th gen, while I thought it was on a 5th gen. Maybe there were 2?

George, you can't even keep a normal Maxima running so why would you even think of trying to do a RWD conversion?

I have to say it is highly pathetic that my post got deleted. The same sarcasm goes for every generation of Maxima, it's not specific to 5th gens, so gen biased moderation isn't even an excuse. Why ignore the idiocy of asking about a RWD conversion kit for a Maxima? We all know ain't **** available for Maximas. We make our own parts, use our own minds to create something unique. You want kits, you better get a different car.

I thought that's what you did a couple of years ago when you were stoned and plowed into the a$$ end of that pickup truck.

We should probably first check to see if the forum can handle a thread with a million or more entries.

And the altima has a far superior chassis to do this on, too. VK56 was a stupid choice, anyway.

Wow!
3 years, over $100,000 (not including his own labor) and it never got finished. He would have still spent a lot more money if he actually pushed through and finished it.
