Has anyone else had a problem with SURTRACK / TRAKMOTIVE axles? I just replaced both cv axles along with a whole host of other stuff (control arms, end links, inner and outer tie rods, entire exhaust from manifolds back, and plugs and coils) and now I am getting a very noticeable rumble / vibration from the left axle upon moderate to hard acceleration from a stop. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with this brand of axles? Can't beleive i have to rip everything apart again to fix, I'm kinda pissed!

 

I've never heard of that brand before.

From what I've read on here, these cars are picky as hell about axles. Basically OEM or bust.

 

It varies, but that's mostly true. Some are even fine on one car, but vibrate hard on another.

It's basically trial and error lol. (Also make sure they're manual CVs if you have a stick).

If they're not clicking, then replace the boots. It's pretty damn easy and cheap (paid 12 for eack kit).

 

Most aftermarket axles don't have the VIBRATION DAMPENER!!

Find a aftermarket brand that does and it won't vibrate
