Parking brake adjustment

Can anyone point out a where to find how to adjust parking brake on A33 2003 3.0V6147kw

The cable turns into a threaded rod where it connects to the bottom of the brake lever. There's a bolt to adjust it there.

I can't remember if it's accessed from under the car or by removing the boot inside. Either way it's not hard to get to.

What is it doing that needs adjustment?

Don't know if your '03 is the same, but mine has an adjustment hole that's accessible from inside the car when the brake lever is pulled up. A deep 10mm socket does the job.

At first, I thought that nut held on the e-brake handle, so I tried loosing it all the way only to give up and find I had no brakes lol. Then I over tightened it until I found the sweet spot. Lesson learned.

It seems like its working okay by the lever but actually it doesnt brake as hard as it has to.(It seems to me like that, but im not 100% sure, also when I went to every year obligatory tech inspection I noticed also that they marked on the sheet what they gave me handbrake efficency is 45%
