Flashing Air Bag light after recall.

So, a few months ago I had the Air Bag recall performed and now I get flashing Air Bag light. My mechanic said the code pinpointed the passenger side airbag...and easy fix. So, I bought an air bad off ebay and swapped it.

1. disconnect battery...I did both sides to be sure.

2. remove glove box.

3. disconnect yellow plug.

4. remove 2 12mm bolts.

5. push air bag from bottom.

Reverse order and follow air bag reset procedure.

Why didn't you just take it back to the dealer? I'm sure they would have warrantied it.

I am taking the dealer air bag back to dealer. The airbag got off ebay was perfect...and it was guaranteed. I have had good luck with ebay purchases.
