No start after injector replacement

Sorry all, I am an oldtimer, points and carb hot rodder, these injector thingys are new to me to work on. I recently tore it down to replace all the injectors. All seemed to go back together well. I especially liked all of the urethane gaskets instead of the cork that I am used too. Even the back side bolts went in with out problems, patients helps, but it will not start.

Something that I noticed is that the injector plugs on the left bank do not want to reengage the locking mechanism. I tried to reconnect to one that I have replaced since they are easier to manipulate but they wont click like the other plugs, ie coils and such. What is necessary to get them to relock?

The little tab on the plugs have to be pushed all the way in and then the plug is put on the injector. Once you put it on it should click. Any other symptoms?

Battery is at shop on charger, will be back tomorrow,so no codes yet. The three under the manifold did click. Can't figure out why the ones in the front didn't. After the battery ets back the fun task of checking for spark and then fuel begin.

That's probably because you were trying to start it with the injectors not properly connected, just reset the light and see if they return,
