How bad is the gap? I want to see pictures. I want to do a cheap easy retrofit. Missing my h1 retro output from my 4th gen. All threads talking about 5 gen headlights on 5.5 seem to have broken picture links.

search around a bit harder, i feel ya being missing links (thats more image shack loosing thier grip in the market with image hosting)

and u clearly have read a snippet on gaps, do u know what u are referecning , you jump from gap to projectors, search a lil more and u may find a guy who does retrofits, unless u did your own on your 4th gen then...what r u waiting for... go to town, this time should be easier if u did it already before.

I can do my own retro. 5th gen with h1 or d2s would be simple and real cheap. Im not asking for help with a retro. I just want to see how bad the gap is from the headlights to bumper. If it looks too bad then I will scrap that idea.

why dont u retro the lights you already have? why r u stuck on the 5th gen headlight idea?

Well l don't usually have time to finish a project within 1 day and 5th gen headlights are alot cheaper. Nevermind it doesn't seem like a good idea.

yeah man ! buy a used pair so u can work on them, then swap and sell your old pair....this way u arent car less... i did this with precats...on my DD
