I have 2 maximas a 01 and a 03. My 03 was wrecked today and was wondering what all I'd have to do to put my 3.5l in place of my 3.0

 

I vote that it's not worth it unless you do all the work yourself and the 3.5 had wayyy low mileage.

a 3.5 into a 4th gen, DO IT! The weight difference is where the 3.5 comes alive in those cars. but the hassle of swapping the 3.5 over to your '01 wouldn't be worth it in my eyes. Just drive the 01 till it breaks and save for a newer car or another max. The 00/01s seem to last longer that the 5.5s anyways.
