2000 vs 2001 Maxima ECU (GQ vs 3T)

I'm going about fixing an '01 Maxima after the IAC failed. I couldn't find a non-damaged "3T" one locally but I did I did manage to get my hands on a cheap one from an '00 Maxima, a GQ rather than the 3T. Both the '00 and the '01 are an SE, automatic, red coil cover VQ30DE version.

Before I go about plugging it in (after swapping IAC) am I going to be blowing anything up or causing it not to run, or are these entirely incompatible?

Thanks!

Edit: Better than 3T/GQ:
The original is the A56-Q79 ZA0 0X26
The '00 is the A56-Q15 Z92 0308

I do not think it'll work for several things. First and foremost that you know that all the ECU is programmed to work with your programmed key. so you will definitely need to get your ECM to program. secondly the 2000 and the 2001 do not work interchangeably since Nissan made several changes to the 2001 which has deleted EGR and a Map sensor where the 2000 has those things. I would try to keep searching for the 01 ECM.

Managed to find the proper one today, along with the key! Only the key isn't the right one for the ECU, security light just comes solid on and it doesn't fire. Oh well, at least I have a not blown up ECU along with a new IAC.

Now I just need to find someone who can program the key and do an idle relearn, the fun part.

I had the dreaded code come up and recently received my new IACV. Pulled my ECU to look for damage. Upon opening it, I discovered that the layout does not match the layout seen in these pics:

Here is my ECU:

While I cannot comment on interchangeability, my 2000 is obviously not the same as the one seen in the first 2 pics. I am a bit stuck now not knowing what chip to inspect to look for damage. Have looked at all of them and none look damaged, and no burnt electronics smell, but would like to specifically inspect the correct one before I go risking the new IACV
