Brake difference between 00-01 to 02-03 brakes

I have been searching for hours on here. links either are dead or info isn't known.

Anybody have concrete evidence,or info about the 5 and 5.5 gens brakes and the differences. Calipers ,rotors and brackets.

After over 2 1/2 hours of searching and reading i had enough.

Rear calipers on 2000 and early production date 2001's are different from the other years. I know that much.

They are different, that's why you can't fit 15s on the 5.5 gens and you can on the 5th gen....get the 00-01 for your car. You can use 5.5 but might have to swap brackets etc IMO.

yes the rear calipers are definitely difference and the brake hardware, I ran into that issue when I was rebuilding my rear calipers myself the parts are different from 00 and the 01 and the 02 and 03 are definitely different.

For the front,
95-01 = 11" rotor, single piston caliper
02-03 = 11.65" rotor, single piston caliper

Not sure if the actual caliper is different but the rotors and brackets definitely are. Larger mounting bolts on the 5.5 bracket too. The knuckle needs to be drilled to use it.

Doesn't matter as the fronts are inadequate. Swap on 6th gen fronts.
