Ticking/Knocking Noise Inside Maxima On Idle
Hey everyone,
My 2003 Nissan Maxima 6-Speed is having the same issues, where it makes a knocking/ticking noise at idle and goes away when driving. It can only really be heard inside the car, with it sometimes being very loud, sometimes very faint.
The knocks are distinctly audible at lowest (idle) rpm with a few knocks per second, with revving to higher rpm knocks no longer being discernible.
My car is 100% stock with 98,000kms. I've read that it could be fuel dampers or fuel pressure regulator, but haven't been able to find a definitive solution.
I've posted a youtube link of my car with the noise (listening with headphones will help identify the noise). Please note that the AC/Fan is turned off while recording.
Any help is appreciated.
