Yesterday i opened and changed the burned bulb of the transmission shift.
i was surprissed to find a blue cover on the old bulb that was so dry that i couldn't take it out without tearing it apart to put on the new bulb.
in the forum i found data only for 4 gen max and it's different light (mine is 5th).
someone knows the cataloge number for blue bulb ?
sorry if it's minor thing but it's importaint for me
Very good idea, i allready located a yard with 2 max that i need to go and see what i can take, beside the blue bulb i am looking to change a part of the dash board (european model) that is a liitel broken, as shown in the picture (top cell)
didn't see american model with this cell.
American models don't have shift lights. I know the dash lights in my American car do have those small bulbs with the blue cover preinstalled from the factory which keeps the dash lighting looking cool white instead of warm white you normally see. I think there are about $1-2 each from the dealer.
You can probably find an LED bulb with that part number but then the shift light would be really bright.
