03 part ID help

bought this o3 Maxima with a few issues, main one was not able to go over 25-3000 rpms so I figured MAF replaced with a known working one from another maxima and same issues. Dont think its the MAF, when i unplug it the car will die. So im looking around and see this part hanging loose under the car, Can anyone tell me what it is and where it is supposed to go? I have looked and dont really see anywhere it could go but im pretty sure its not supposed to be just hanging. The red plug is where it is plugged into and that connectiion runs up by the coils and into the main harness. Ive tried to find wiring diagrams that will help me out but havent had any luck.

Thanks

That is the motor from the electric motor mount. That is pretty dirty, so it evidently has been hanging loose for a while.

You will have to check the bottom side of the motor mount to see if it came off the one currently on the car ot if it maybe is left left over from when the motor mount was changed.

Reset ECU (pedal dance).

A dummy thought it had to be plugged in to avoid CEL. Just throw it away.

Yup, the auto cars had electric mounts. The cheaper and better option is to swap them with standard mounts.
