Unicorn?

So I just picked up a new addition to my maxima fleet this past week I think it is a bit of a unicorn wondering what everyone thinks, 2002 Maxima 6-speed, with Navi, Leather SE, Heated seats, Heated Steering wheel, Sunroof, Bose, Got it from the orginal owner, 156k miles, Side air bags. LSD what does everyone think? I didn't even know heated steering wheel was a option back in 2002 I have the orginal window sticker as well!

All this, including the window sticker, doesn't mean much. The question is - How much did you pay for it?

Unicorn? LOL unless it shoots out sparkles out of the tailpipe, then you definitely got a unicorn. I'm surprise how much the original MSRP for that equipment back in 2002 is pretty steep.

It's a little steep. The navigation is what really bumps it up. Kind of a worthless option now that we all have smartphones but in 02 it was really cool. No one would walk in and pay full price for a Nissan either. All that matters is what you could actually buy it for.

I agree with Derrick, the navigation is what makes it unique.

After reading your window sticker, I now realize that sunroof and mud flaps were factory upgrades, so my 2002 SE has a total of 2 factory upgrades...

My car is the epitome of a base model SE lol.

The SE was a funny package.
You could get one stripped with cloth and no sunroof all the way up to fully equipped like a GLE.

Personally I think the GXE should have been manual only, and then keep the option for SE.

yeah, mine was an SE with Comfort and Convenience Package with automatic. I was looking at my window sticker when I bought it new back in 2001 and it was almost 25k for the car. Considering for the time it was a bargain what you get compare to other cars that is equipped less for same price. Fast forward today, a plethora of cars out there are loaded equipping for most bang for the bucks kind of hard to compete with.
