Will Warpspeed y pipe fit correctly with Cattman headers?
2002 Maxima SE Auto
Hi. I've inherited my brother's (he used to be follower on this forum as well) old 2002 Maxima SE Auto and was looking to finish off the job he started with the mods he's installed on the car.
The maxima has Cattman headers installed on it already.
Was looking for an appropriate y pipe to complete the exhaust system and saw and researched from this forum, the warpspeed y pipe.
I was looking to purchase this y pipe but wanted to check here if anyone knew if any fitment issues with mating the warspeed y pipe to cattman headers.
Anyone know?
Thank you.

The headers came with the Y-pipe. It may have been lost over the years.
They made the headers for years with several generations. I'm not sure if the Y-pipes of different gens will even fit each other.
I don't believe any aftermarket Y-pipe will bolt up without modification. They would probably be close enough that a good exhaust shop could modify one.
I'd contact Warpspeed and see if they can make one that will work.

Warpspeed has been making exhaust pieces for Maximas for a long time. I had one of their Y-pipes back in 2004 before I went with headers. If anyone can tell you where to go they can.
