Hello all, new to the site. I have an 03 Maxima GLE with yes, the air bag light flashing. Before anyone asks, I have read and tried the door jam trial as well as turning key off and on several times when air bag light comes on when turning key on with no luck. However, i do believe it gave me a code during one of the turning key on/off trials. The light gave one long air bag light flash and held for about 2-3 seconds followed by 3 short flashes and repeated the cycle. Any ideas?

 

To be honest, I do not know anyone knows those airbag codes would be. It's fairly complicated from the air bag modules to the harness to the clock springs. It can be a number of things that cause those thing to flash

 

This code is associated with the drivers side module
Theres a circuit board that routes the accessories. There is three connections and if the middle one isnt tight the light will blink.
I honestly think most of all airbag lights are loose connections.

 

To decipher the blinking air bag light code, one needs to read the FSM, specifically the RS (Restraint System) section of the FSM.
