so one day i started my car up and noticed that my rpm gage is no reading at all, traction control light is off and wont let me switch it back on, slip light is on and idek what that is, trunk keeps opening by itself. The worst thing is that my car doesnt wanna crank on the first turn of the key. i know that its not the ignition or it wouldnt start at all same goes for the starter. i checked all my ground wires and cleaned them same for my battery. my friend is telling me its probably the computer which i assume is called the ECU, but i read alot of stuff about that and people say its really unlikely my computer is burnt up or busted cause it doesnt happen often at all. it has a check engine light on it but i took it to have the codes read and the reader at autozone said error and wouldnt read it. can someone please give me a idea of what is going on and what i can do to fix it without taken it to the dealership?
