Black headlights with stock hid

I am looking for black headlights with the stock hids is it possible to find these. And if not will the black after market lights without hid be as bright. I like the lights just want them to be black. Just want some opinions on this

These are mine that I modded. There's a link here somewhere with step by step instructions. I'd have to search around for it.

In short, it involves cooking open the lights, masking off the chrome, replacing the amber lens and painting. I dusted the final few coats to give the texture of black automotive plastic.

If you go on FaceBook and join some of the Maxima pages, there’s a guy by the name of Dustin Kemp who sells modified headlights. Any color combo you want, he can make.

That's the one. I did it around 2006 or so and they still look good.

I would just add that spraying a few final light coats of paint from a distance will make it look better. It will land less wet and have a texture like the black part of a car bumper. It'll look more natural than trying to get a gloss finish.

I like the look of that. Nice job. I need to find time to do this.
