Cold Engine Stalling

Cold Engine Stalling
I have a 2000 GLE, when it gets cold outside, sub 45 F, the engine turns on and then stalls immediately. It will turn on again upon restart and rev up to 3000 rpm, then lower down to 1500 where it will sit. Occasionally it will then run lower RPMs and have a rough idle. Once the car is warm, it runs nearly smoothly with no noticeable issues. There have been no error codes.
Recently the alternator was replaced, the throttle body was cleaned, and the MAF sensor was cleaned. I'm looking to get this fixed, as it is frustrating to deal with in the winter time. I talked briefly with a Nissan mechanic who suggested replacing the IACV and the internet mentions the EGR valve, but the problems I have seem to be different than ones related specifically to those issues and with no codes being thrown it is hard to tell where to go.
