Does anyone have the 2k2 gear ratios? For both Auto & 6sp?

Hmm. Actually, Search didn't show any posts on a 5th gen auto gear ratio. [Although there **was** some material on the 4th gen auto geat ratio.] I'm especially interested in any changes that there might have been for the 2k2, 'cuz I would have thought that the 3.5L would have caused Nissan to make a change in the gear ratios compared to the 3.0L ?

1st- 2.79 (Max speed 49mph, 7.6mph/1000rpms
2nd- 1.55 (Max speed 89mph, 13.7mph/1000rpms)
3rd- 1.00 (Max speed 124mph, 19.1mph/1000rpms)
4th- .69 (Max speed unknown)

3.79 final drive

We need 5 speed auto's with these ratio's


1st- 4.55
2nd- 3.58
3rd- 2.56
4th- 1.55
5th- 1.00

2.89 final drive I like the idea of having a direct ratio (1:1) final gear for great highway response and acceleration without having to downshift.

 

Hmm 5th gens get a 3.79 gear. Slap some 205/50-15 drag radials or tires on the car and its like having a 4.30 final gear. New speeds in each gear would be:
1st- 43mph
2nd- 78mph
3rd- 109mph
4th- 157mph
Cartest shows an ET/trapspeed that is 2 tenths/2mph quicker vs stock sized tires. Considering that 2 extra 15in wheels and tires in this size can be bought for $300 its a good mod.
