Help, another totaled Maxima.

Claims agent has totaled her, ony 69,000 miles. Any ideas on what i can get out of her? Has Willwood BBK in the front, and three good Volk TE37sl wheels.

Commercial vehicle hit my maxima while parked then fled the scene. He somehow managed to strike my driver side rear wheel with his passenger front. The impact drove the wheel into the rocker panel bending the body and destroying most of the rear suspension components.

Damn sorry to hear man. You can get good bucks for that car. Strip it down and put it all up for sale. people are always looking for parts on these cars. Such a shame

Damn, that thing is clean! That almost makes me cry.

What did the insurance company pay out, if I may ask? Curious for my own situation. I have about $10k into my '03 with an actual cash value of about eight hundred bucks. Working on an agreed value policy as comp & collision through a regular provider makes no sense.

Yep. Couple hours on a frame rack and might not even have to do any body work.

man at those low miles, id either ifx my self or stip it to the body then part out the body panels. i'd use every parts of the animal. especially the odd ball rubber and plastic bits.

Did you have full coverage?

If so,...insurance company should total the car and take it off your hands (i don't think you have a choice in this case).

HOWEVER, if you have no collision, THE car is your's to do whatever (as you know)

No, but I was covered under uninsured motorist policy, they payed out on a total loss and let me keep the car for a lesser amount.
